Spin 4 Math
International School of Choueifat - Amman
Grades 6
December 15, 2014Based on the famous Television show "Wheel of Fortune" the Academic Department created a thrilling and educational contest “Spin4Math”.
Four teams of three students took turn in spinning a colored wheel to determine the category of the Math Question the team will receive. The categories ranged between Mental Math, Set Theory Questions, and Solving Equations. The catch was that if the spinning team answered wrong, the wheel will also decide which team can try and answer the same question and earn its points. This rule guaranteed that all teams try solving every single question.

February 05, 2015
Health Week took place from February 1st to February 5th. The main purpose was to raise health awareness.
The Sports and Health Department assigned prefects to lead the students in various health oriented activities. Morning workouts were held every day during line up, along with exercises during break, like jogging a lap around the track and doing sit ups. In addition, there was a vendor selling fresh fruit juices, smoothies, and salads all week. The Sports and Health department prefects also organized presentations that were held for all students in grades 2-12. They revolved around healthy tips and the drawbacks of not leading a healthy lifestyle, along with the dangers of smoking. The motto that week was, “Let’s Get Fit!” and that is exactly what students, teachers, and staff set out to do.
