For the occasion of Mother's Day, the grade 1 students got creative and created greeting cards from pre-cut decorations and materials for their mothers.

In turn, mothers were invited to join the fun, work and help their kids and of course enjoy sweets

Battle of the Artists

Abdulaziz International School - Riyadh

Grades 4 - 9

On Saturday 7^th March 2015 the SABIS Student Life Organization^®, in collaboration with the art department, hosted the Battle of Artists, an event where our own studnet artists compete, along with their fathers, to produce the best painting.

The event gathered a very large number of competitors, seventy to be exact. The father-son teams were requested to paint either an object provided by the school, or a subject of their choice; budding artists were cast into the limelight. Beautiful paintings of villages, people and even everyday subjects emerged on canvas.

After two hours of fun and work judges went around admiring the painitng that the teams had created and selected the winners.  Winning wasn't the best part of the day.  Rather it was the cooperation and team work that fathers and sons put together to contrbute to a work of art they will be proud of for a long time.

Encouraging Education

International School of Choueifat - Muscat

Grades 5 - 12

On Saturday, March 7, 2015, the International School of Choueifat-Muscat held an event aimed at raising funds for children who are unable to complete their education due to financial difficulties. Guests from the local community enjoyed a day packed with fun activities and food prepared by the students themselves. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, all proceeds were donated to charities who, in turn, help fund children’s education.

The fundraising event is one of the many ways that students at ISC-Muscat learn the value and importance of giving back to their community and helping those who are less fortunate.

Shadow Teaching has long been an integral fundamental part of the SABIS^® system. Our shadow Teachers possess an impressive ability to conduct lessons and convey information engraving the message in the minds of all students.

The academic department launched a shadow teaching week for grades 10-11, So You Think You Can Teach, with judges circulating among the classrooms grading each performance. Congratulations to our spectacular shadow teachers.
