House Renovation Campaign
Abdulaziz International School - Girl Section
Grades 5 - 12
April 18, 2015A year of hard work paid off: Girls of Social Responsibility Department successfully raised enough money through Bake Sales and many fund raising events to refurbish, renovate houses and supply some basic food necessities to the impoverished families living in the underdeveloped area of Riyadh. The prefects worked in liaison with Al Boniyan Charitable Society which provided them with a list of deserving families entitled to receive the goodwill.
This House Renovation Project was an experience like no other undertaking. It was through this phenomenal assignment that students realized not to take anything for granted and always appreciate what they have. It was both a heart-warming and an eye-opening experience to know that school students can make a difference in peoples’ lives.

ISM chose to take a vow of silence against bullying. Around the world there are voices that aren’t heard, and on April 16, 2015 ISM students took a stand so others could be heard. Students in grades 6 through 12 wore masks and were silent for one entire day. We had over 70 students and staff members participate and it was a very powerful movement.
