Thursday...Smile Day
International School of Choueifat - Ruwais
Grades 6 - 12
January 22, 2015Sunshine and Social Responsibility prefects at the International School of Choueifat – Ruwais started an initiative under the title of “Thursday…Smile Day”.
The prefects stood at the school entrance to greet teachers and staff members as they came into the school in the morning and offered them a “smile” badge to wear all day, and return that badge to the SLO® office by the end of the day. The badge read: “Wear your smile….the key that fits the lock of every heart”
A large number of teachers and administrators – including the school’s SABIS® Support Director – wore the badge all day in support of the smile day. The badges will continue to be given out every Thursday; however, the quote on them will change to match the theme of the week or the theme of the month. The next badges will be titled “Smile for Success”
