In order to honor the teachers who dedicated their school year to their students, the SLO® prefects prepared, practiced, and took photos of teachers in classrooms to create a simple, yet special way to thank them for all their efforts and hard work.
As the teachers made their way to the school theater where they were invited, SLO® Outreach prefects as well as students lined up along the way to cheer them and greet them as they walked in making them feel like celebrities. As teachers took their seats, the Head Prefect delivered an inspirational speech thanking all teachers for their contrbution to the wellfare of the students. A choir formed by students from grades 4 to 6 sang to their teachers while their photos lit up the screen.
As the ceremony drew to a close, tears were shed, memories were shared as both students and teachers expressed their gratitude toward each other.
