Costume Party

November 06, 2014On Thursday, November 6, the SABIS Student Life Organization® at ISC-Erbil organized a “Costume Party” for Gr. 8 to 12.
Dressed in creative costumes, the students had their photo taken at the “Photo Booth” as they trickled in before proceeding to the decorated main hall.
Prefects planned exciting games, dancing and singing that were enjoyed by students and teachers alike followed by a delicious meal.
The excitement reached a peak towards the end, when the judges selected the “Best Costumes” for the night. Winners were acknowledged and rewarded to the delight of the audience.

World Kindness Day

In order to spread joy and happiness on World Kindness Day, the Sumshine Prefects surprised the entire student body, staff and administrators by sticking chocolate on the underside of everyone's desk.
A message was left on everyone's desk about World Kindness Day and of course directing them to the chocolate.
There was lots of happy faces at the school on that day.
Camp Out

Activities Prefects organized a camping for grades 5 and 6 at the main field of their school.
160 students enjoyed 2 days of fun activities including learning how to set up a tent, competing in dodgeball, football and basketball, watching a movie at night, singing, dancing and of course a campfire with s’mores galore for everyone.
Spending the night under a tent in sleeping bags was a first to many especially away from home and from their families.
