This is my second year with SABIS^® SLO and it has given me the strength and confidence, it made me accept challenges, always try to reach my goals and never give up. And the most important lesson I learned is to enjoy the journey with a positive attitude.

International School on the Rhine

Students at the International School on the Rhine started Term 2 on a POSITIVE NOTE!

The Outreach Department organized ‘Positive Post-It Day’ and prepared brightly colored Post-Its marked with positive quotes and motivational messages. They posted them on all cubbies and lockers throughout the school to show ISR students how truly special they are!

Inspired by a true story, these small words of encouragement resulted in big smiles and lots of happiness.

So You Think You Can Graph?” is the question the Student Life Organization^® at ISC-Amman asked students from Grade 7 during a two-round academic contest. Organized by the Academic Department prefects, the contest allowed students to test their mathematical knowledge on graphical equations in a fun and challenging environment.

There were some surprising and exciting results with unexpected teams qualifying for the final round. By all accounts, all participants thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and learned some new skills while playing.

Spooky Halloween Night

On October 31, 2014, grade 5 and 6 students at ISF enjoyed a fun-filled Halloween Party organized by the Lower School SLO^® Department. To start the night off on a spooky note, students entered the party through a scary Haunted House manned by 10^th and 11^th grade SLO^® prefects where they encountered zombies, ghosts, and a bloody butcher. Throughout the party, students enjoyed Halloween themed refreshments, apple bobbing, face painting, pumpkin painting, zombie tag, and dancing. The night ended with a Halloween Costume Contest. Although competition was stiff, a pint sized Darth Vader took home the top prize!
