Flint provides Bullying Prevention expertise to Detroit

Prefects from the International Academy of Flint travelled to Detroit to deliver many Bullying Prevention sessions to the students of the International Preparatory Academy school.

It was a wonderful example of how schools support each other and how Student Life extends its reach to wherever it is needed.

Fun with Lower School

ISC - Choueifat

The Lower school prefects planned a spectacular KG Fun Day to celebrate the beginning of the Academic Year.

The grand event included magicians, clowns, men on sticks and an amazing ballerina, swirling and dazzling the large crowd.  Children and parents enjoyed a day of bead filling, tattoo printing, art activities, make–up and a picture to keep the memories alive.

As guests came along, they were greeted by a large display of balloons, face painting, cotton candy and popcorn.

All in all, the day was an unforgettable start to the school year.

Local Mini-Camp

ISC - Choueifat

85 prefects benefited from a day-long mini-camp that blended a mix of sessions (Leadership, Team Building, brainstorming ideas to improve the school, etc.) and bonding activities to ensure this year becomes the best year ever at Choueifat.

Food Drive

ISC - Dream City

Students, staff and parents came together to collect food and other necessities for all the displaced and disadvantaged families who saught refuge in Ainkawa.

“It was a good way to make our children learn about poor people life style and how they live. I think this activity was very good for this age because they are the next generation of our country. The students learn to be kind and respectful to everyone”.
