Searching for Talent

During the month of February, the SLO® Lower School Department ran an event called ‘On the Search for Talents’ that challenged students from KG1 to Grade 6 to tap into their creative sides and submit pictures, stories, videos, and paintings that showcased their specific talents. Throughout the month, the Lower School Department received many submissions that showed the creativity and talent that the students at ISF possess. Submissions included paintings, a dance video, a spooky story, and a pop-up 3D artwork.
At the end of the month, all students who participated were awarded candy for their efforts and all the submissions will featured in the next issue of the ISF Times and are displayed on the SLO® Board at the school.

Qatar National Day

The Qatar National Day celebration is an annual event organized by the SLO®.
The event is managed by the Qatari students and joined by all other nationalities to celebrate the independence of the State of Qatar. Students, parents and staff all gather and celebrate in a carnival like event where a traditional Qatari tent is set, traditional food served, traditional music played and traditional dances performed.
