Mini-Camp

ISC - Dubai Investment Park

The 1^st ever SLO^® Mini Camp for ISC-DIP was held on October 16^th and 17^th, 2014.

Prefects participated in a range of training sessions to improve their contribution to the school and SLO^®. They covered a wide range of lectures such as communication skills, teamwork, and positive thinking. Added to the training sessions were team building activites to strengthen the bonds among prefects.  An exciting activity was drumming which taught participants teamwork and coordination.  Following that a team sticker activity got the teams going for the treasure hunt which involved critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork.

Overall the camp was an enlightening experience. It helped the participants walk away with a deeper understanding of how to inspire and encourage others and how to help students achieve success by teaching key characteristics, like being positive, choosing your attitude, and recognizing “the power” exists within each one of them.

New Mascot

Mid-Michigan Leadership Academy - Lansing, USA

The SLO^® facilitated a mascot drawing contest. The team received more than 15 unique and original lion drawings. Of the 15, five were selected as finalists. Both students and staff voted to select their mascot and it was a very close call. There is a lot of talent at the school and all students felt proud to have been involved in selecting their own mascot.

Sardam International School

In order to nuture the sense of pride and belonging as well as the civic responsibilities of the students, the prefects went around the school adding plants where needed, cleaning the grounds and sorting books for donations.

Mini-Camp

International School of Choueifat - Erbil

The annual SLO^® Mini-Camp was held in Erbil on January 15 and 16.

The camp included many sessions and activities to boost the efficiency of the SLO^®, increase team work and spirit and convey to all participants the new knoweldge acquired during the Student Life Training Camp.  Among the many highlights of the camp are the following:
